Emre Caglayan, PA-C

Emre brings multiple years of experience treating the full spectrum of orthopedic and sports medicine injuries, making him especially well-suited to the fast-paced, diverse needs of urgent care. His strong clinical foundation, combined with his approachable demeanor and genuine compassion, enables him to connect easily with patients and deliver excellent care.

His background spans comprehensive care and clinical rotations in internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, behavioral medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, primary care, and orthopedic surgery. He is highly skilled in in-depth history and physical examinations, prescribing and managing medications, ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic results, and evaluating the need for surgical intervention.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Emre is an active member of the American Association of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the South Carolina Association of Physician Assistants (SCAPA), and the American Heart Association (AHA).

Emre is also skilled in musculoskeletal ultrasound, an advanced diagnostic tool that allows him to visualize joints in real time, detecting inflammation such as joint effusions and guiding targeted joint injections for conditions like tennis elbow and rotator cuff tendonitis. He has developed a loyal following of patients on Hilton Head Island who rely on him specifically for joint injections to manage arthritis and chronic inflammation, and we are thrilled to now offer those patients the convenience of receiving that same exceptional care right here at Sea Pines Circle Immediate Care.
